Geoff Rosenberger has a new post on his Atlantic City real estate news blog about our project at 101 Boardwalk. His post is titled, The View — Atlantic City’s Inlet section ready for a rebound? He presents some interesting background on both the building and the Inlet section of Atlantic City.
Some interesting history from his article, “…now called The View, the building was constructed by the Army Corps of Engineers between the years of 1959 to 1962. Shaped like a half circle, the idea was to deflect hurricane-strength winds in its’ curve and turn them back to sea. Further, it is welded together, along the lines of a ship, instead of bolted like other buildings….” Read his entire article
