I hope this Captain is right. Not much beats a tasty flounder filet in summer.
New Jersey charter boat captain Dick Herb can’t wait for the 2009 saltwater fishing season to get started. Herb, who pilots the charter boat Escape out of Avalon, anticipates one of the most productive seasons in recent memory – particularly on that most coveted of fish, the humble (but tasty) summer flounder. Flounder are also the primary target species for boatloads of Chester County anglers who vacation or just make day trips to the nearby New Jersey coastline in search of fresh fillets.
